An update on the Daybook Kickstarter

I mentioned the Kickstarter project for Tamara Siuda’s Ancient Egyptian Daybook the day after it launched. Within two hours of that launch, it had made the goal of $3000. Siuda never expected that. Soon after stretch goals went up, for $10,000, $20,000, and $40,000.

Last night the project hit the first stretch goal. Ten thousand dollars. This is incredible. I’m still hoping for the other goals to be reached. $20,000 results in donations of the book to libraries, which appeals to my professional life. And with $40,000, we can get an app. Imagine being able to look up feast days for Min (today is one) by just touching your phone.

Keep talking about this project. Keep supporting it.
